FAQ Copyright and Sharing of Images
A brief summery
Copyright Licence
When you upload an image you select one of two options. Each individual image may have a different copyright setting and you can always change the setting by clicking on Edit:

Shared Licence - Not Optional
All images that are uploaded to the iSnapChat site are shared. This is used as a way to promote artist's work.
From an Artist point of view this offers hugh promotional advantages. To understand this please read: FAQ Artists - Essential Information
Sharing - Not Optional
By uploading images to the iSnapChat site you agree that anybody may share your images to new locations in the iSnapChat Application or associated locations such as on their Facebook Wall. When people share images they love, including your work, a link back to you is always retained. Anyone may click on the Image Info Button and see that it is your image, read what you have written, if it is for sale or not, or if it has been sold. Users may read other peoples comments, your replies and contribute their own comments or message you directly. People may access your iSnapChat Profile and from there they may view your other artwork, visit your Art Shop, read about you and become your Fan.
Note: If you do not want to share your images in this way, do not upload them.
Public Visibility - Not Optional
All Images and all related annotations are fully public.

This enables us to offer your friends and other users the right to create Canvas Prints, Posters, Greeting Cards, T-Shirts and many other personalized gifts and products from that image. This is a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right.
Note: If you do not want to give us Commercial Use over your images just select: Shared Licence

You select this:
• When you first upload an image
• Once you have uploaded an image, by clicking on the Edit button
Make Stuff
Many people will be very happy to allow us to use there images in this way. If you wish to use this service go to the main menu and click on: Make Stuff

Deleting Images
If you select to globally delete your image from this site, any rights that iSnapChat may have had to share or use your image will expire. *
Permanently Deleting Your Images
It is easy to find your work and globally delete it from the application. On the main Menu go to Search and select: My Stuff

You can then click on any of your images and select the: Delete Icon

Important Exceptions
* When an image is shared from iSnapChat to someone's Facebook Wall or Newsfeed a small thumbnail image maybe displayed in the Facebook site. These Images are not affected by Global Delete as we have no editorial control over Facebook and they will have their own copyright policy.
* We retain the right to keep a copy of images that have been sold. This is so buyers, sellers and our admin staff may keep a record of sales and purchases. Uses can only see images relating to their own transactions and none of this is publicly visible. These images will not be used for any other purpose.
