With over 2 billion images uploaded to Facebook every month our collective desire to enjoy and share images is enormous. iSnapChat has been specifically created to take full advantage of this revolution. iSnapChat is a state of the art visual communication tool with a sophisticated look and feel which has been designed to promote your art through powerful marketing methods unique to Social Networks.
The iSnapChat Application gives you Artists a platform to freely promote and, if you wish, to sell your artwork in a way that will help build communities and forge links to new friends and artists. iSnapChat will help you discover how to unleash the full power of Facebook as a promotional resource.
The iSnap Visual Conversation
The iSnap Visual Conversation is central to promoting yourself successfully. You do not need to wait for people to find you but you can use our site to proactively go out and find people who will be interested in your art. Understanding the iSnap Visual Conversation will help you fully utilize the strength of a modern Social Network as a powerful promotional tool.

How to Register as an iSnapChat Artist
It is free and only takes a few minutes to register as an iSnapChat Artist. As part of the registration process you will be asked to upload some images to a new Gallery or an Art Shop. I recommend that you prepare your images before starting:

Galleries are designed as a free exhibition space. The work in your Galleries is not for sale.

Art Shops
If you wish to sell work on iSnapChat you will need to create an Art Shop. You may sell either:
- Digital Art: It is free to upload Digital Art and Digital Photos to your Art Shop. We charge a commission on the Sale. For further info see: FAQ Selling Art
- Physical Art: If you wish to sell painting, drawing or other forms of physical arts or craft you must purchase a low cost subscription. We do not charge any commission on the sale. For further info see: FAQ Selling Art

Promotional Tools - Overview
A picture conversation between you and your public
iSnapChat is unique in that it uses the advantages of Facebook's massive Social Network to spread your work to new audiences in a way that no other gallery can.
Sharing as a Promotional Tool
Sharing is essential to the iSnapChat concept. This enables other people to promote your artwork for you. Our Artist's have a public iSnapChat Profile and so everyone can see your images and then display them in a variety of locations in the iSnapChat Application or in their Facebook Account exposing your work to new people well beyond your own Friends. Users may place your images on their Facebook Wall, in their iSnap Visual Conversations or as part of their Favorite collection. From there your image may spread to yet more iSnap Conversations and other such locations in the Application and on Facebook, all the time exposing your work to new people. This sharing is purposely designed to promote your work to a huge potential audience and keep your images spreading from person to person. This sharing may continue indefinitely over months or even years, all the time exposing your work to an ever growing audience and finding you new fans.
Linking Back to You
When people share images they love, including your work, a link back to you is always retained. Anyone may click on the Image Info Button and see that it is your image, read what you have written, if it is for sale or not, or if it has been sold. Users may read other peoples comments, your replies and contribute their own comments or message you directly. People may access your profile and from there they may view your other artwork, visit your Art Shop, read about you and become your Fan.

iSnapChat goes way beyond anything else that is currently available to Artists. Public sharing enables us to create a full array of extremely powerful promotional tools that encourage users to discuss, send, share and display images that they love:

Agree to Share
iSnapChat uses sharing as way to promote your artistic work and is the key to iSnapChat’s effectiveness. By uploading your artwork to iSnapChat you agree that anybody may share your images to new locations in the iSnapChat Application or associated locations such as on their Facebook Wall. This gives you access to a very powerful promotional system. But if you do not want to share your images in this way, do not upload them.
Copyright & Editorial Control
You may globally delete your images from the iSnapChat Application (this does not affect images published to Facebook).

The iSnap Visual Conversation
The iSnap Visual Conversation is one of the most powerful features in this Application and it can deliver your work to an ever growing audience over a sustained period of time. These Visual Conversations enable you to send images back and forth to one another and view these as a thread of images with comments. They are open to the public and anyone may join in. These conversations move from person to person in a continuous movement. They do not expire and may go on almost indefinitely as a Public Forum with a virtually unlimited audience. They are designed to get people involved, discussing and enjoying each other's artwork. So not only will other people discover your artwork but hopefully you will discover new art and meet other artists and art lovers.
How it Works
In order to get the most out this application you will want to add your images to various iSnap Conversations. But please remember that it is a two way conversation, so I recommend that you add just a single Image to any one iSnap conversation at any one time, then go and explore other Conversations. Your images will travel with that iSnap as it travels the world from person to person.
Creating New iSnap Conversations
Creating new iSnaps enables you to set the iSnap theme by setting the Title and writing the Description. As the iSnap Creator you are automatically the Moderator which means that you can appoint other Moderators and you can edit and control the content. To get a new iSnap going you will need to invite your Friends and nurture and promote the Conversation until it gets enough people involved that it gains its own momentum and becomes a lively forum.

To create a New iSnap Conversation go to the main Menu and click on: New

Finding Existing iSnap Conversations
There are several ways to find iSnap Conversations that you will want to participate in:

Selling Art through Other People's iSnap Conversations
When you register as an iSnapChat Artist you may create an Art Shop to sell your work from. Once you have done this you may add these images directly into other peoples iSnap Conversations, proactively finding a larger audience.
In these Conversation the image will have a Buy Now button and if people click on the Image Info button they will be able to see the price and Buy Art details, look at your iSnapChat Profile, view your other Art, contact you, make comments, publish your artwork to their Facebook Wall, invite other people to view your art, become your fan and other similar actions.
To Sell your Art from within existing iSnap Visual Conversations:
- Register as an iSnapChat Artists and create an Art Shop
- Use one of the methods described in the previous section to find an appropriate iSnap.
Important: Make sure that the iSnap Conversation is appropriate and in context to your work as spamming is not allowed.
- When you have found the right iSnap Conversation click on: Add an Image
- Select the iSnapChat option:
- Then go to: Advanced Search > Art Shops > My Stuff
- You will then be able to select any image from your Art Shop.
No Spamming or Inappropriate Content!!
Please help keep iSnapChat a quality environment by ensuring that images and comments are inoffensive and appropriate to the topic of conversation. Each iSnap is moderated by other iSnapChat users. There is also a report system to notify our staff who will ensure that people who post inappropriate material may have their content removed or be totally banned from using the application without warning or redress.

Other Promotional Tools
Your iSnapChat Public Profile
As an iSnapChat Artist you will have a Public Profile on the iSnapChat Application. It is from here that people can read about you, look at your art and communicate with you. Anyone can access your Public Profile by clicking on your Profile Picture, so the more you share your work into new iSnap Visual Conversations the more people see your Profile Image and find their way into your Profile Page. So please take the time to fill out the information in your iSnapChat Profile as this gives you an opportunity to tell the public about yourself.
Your iSnapChat Fans
As an iSnapChat Artist you have the opportunity to build up a very large Fan base.

You should consider your iSnapChat Fans a Long Term Asset!

There is no limit to the number of Fans you may have.
|
| |
• |
You may message all your Fans in one go or you may message them individually. |
| |
• |
Users are encouraged to become your Fan when they comment in your Galleries, Art Shop, Profile, Features and Image Info pages. |

You can proactively go out and seek new Fans by inviting people to become your Fan.
|
| |
• |
As an Artist you can consider your Fans as a long term asset.

Publishing to Facebook
Using your Facebook Wall is an excellent way to show off your work. Not only will the image appear on your Wall but they will be visible in the News Feed on your Friend's Home Pages. So Publish images regularly to keep your images visible in your friend's News Feeds.

Invite Friends
You can invite Friends to view your images and iSnapChat Profile. Facebook may restrict how many people you may invite on anyone day but it is fine to come back the next day and invite more!

Tag Words
Without tag words our Search Engine can't see your work, so please use them. You can Tag:

Your Art Shop
When you are uploading an Image or creating a New Gallery, iSnap or Art Shop you will be prompted to add Tag Words.
You can also add Tag Words later by using the Edit Button that you will find under your images:.
Important: Make sure that the Tag Words are appropriate and in context to your work as spamming is not allowed.

Favorites
This is a place where Friends, Fans and Potential Buyers can store a personal collection of artwork they like. It may also be useful to you too, as without this it may be difficult to find other people's images again.

You can save any image to your own Favorites by click on the Heart button:

To view your own Favorites go to: My Images > My Favorites

To view someone else's Favorites go to their iSnapChat Profile by clicking on their Profile Picture and scroll down the page till you see their Favorites
Note: Not everyone has Favorites.

Competitions
It is our intention to run regular competitions and the winners will be promoted on our Home Page or in other ways throughout the Application. Our first ever competition received 1000 entries! With this level of interest you can be sure that many people will be looking through all the competition images. So just taking part exposes your work to a wider audience. As an iSnapChat Artist you may want to receive email notification of competitions. Make sure your iSnapChat Settings allow us to send email notifications.
Messages
Other people may message you and invite you to join iSnap Conversations. Keep an eye out for new messages via the icons at the top of every page:

Email Notifications
When users comment on your images, buy your work, message you or interact in other ways we send you an email notification. Make sure this is switched on and working correctly:

On the menu at the bottom of any page go to: Settings
Then check that your email is correct and that email Notifications are on:

Go to your email program and make sure that our email is not blocked or marked as junk
You might want to put our email in your address book as a known email:

Features and Advertising
If you wish to further promote your profile or your work more directly you may purchase Pay Per Click Features. These are located in prominent locations throughout the Application.

Art Shops & Galleries
Art Shops
You have the option to sell artwork if you wish. For more information see: FAQ Selling Art
Galleries
You can create Galleries with specific themes just like an exhibition. These are fully visible to the Public and users can find these in a variety of ways.

To create a new Gallery go to: New > New Gallery

To edit an existing Gallery go to: My Images > My Galleries
You will see your Galleries listed. Click on one of the Galleries to view the images. You will then see the Controls:
Tip: Don't forget to promote your Galleries by adding the images to iSnap Conversations. Also Invite your Friends to view and comment in your Galleries.

How to Resign as an iSnapChat Artist
If you no longer wish to be an iSnapChat Artist you can resign at any time.

Resigning and Deleting Images
When you Resign your Art Shops and Galleries will be deleted (this does not affect images published to Facebook).
Additional Services: Subscriptions and Advertising
It is free to be an iSnapChat Artists and you may resign at any time, but if you have selected to purchase any additional services such as advertising or a subscription, these will no longer work once you resign. As we don't wish to charge you for services that you no longer need the iSnapChat Application will automatically request that you select to cancel these services as part of the resign process. If you select not to cancel these services you will not be able to complete the resign process. We recommend that you fully utilize any paid for services before resigning.
