The iSnap - A Visual Conversation

The iSnap Visual Conversation has been specifically designed to enable you to explore art in a friendly environment where you can discover art and meet artists in a friendly community. I hope you will enjoy exploring, discovering and meeting new people with similar interests.

In essence an iSnap is a visual conversation where you send images back and forth to one another and view these as a thread of images with comments. The iSnap conversations are open to the public and anyone may join in. These conversations are designed to get people involved, discussing and enjoying images and artworks. These conversations move from person to person in a continuous movement. They do not expire and may go on almost indefinitely.

Please feel free to add images of your own into the iSnaps that you discover. Remember that it is a conversation, so we recommend that you add just a Single Image to an iSnap at any one time, then go and explore other iSnaps. When you get a reply you can go back and add a reply. Your images will travel with that iSnap as it travels the world from person to person.

How to Find Interesting iSnaps

	•	My iSnaps & My Friends iSnaps You can find iSnaps that: • You have created or participated in • You have been invited to join • Your Friends have created or participated in On the main menu click on: My iSnaps
	•	Search for iSnaps You may wish to search for iSnaps that are on a specific topic or about a specific artist. On the main menu click on: Search You can Search for images that are in iSnap Conversations: Here you can search by Keywords to find images in iSnaps that interest you.
	•	Recent iSnaps In the Main Menu look in: My iSnaps > Recent Here you will find the iSnaps with the most recent activity.
	•	Via People's iSnapChat Profile All iSnap Conversations that a person is participating in are accessible via a persons iSnapChat Profile. Click on anyone's profile picture and scroll down their Profile page to see their iSnaps: Note: You can see your Friends or any Artists profile but other users may have privacy settings which exclude your viewing their profile.

How to Create a New iSnap

Title, Description & Moderator Controls
Creating new iSnap enables you to set the iSnap theme by setting the Title and writing the Description. As the iSnap Creator you are automatically the Moderator which means that you can appoint other moderators and you can edit and control the content. To get a new iSnap going you will need to invite your Friends and nurture and promote the iSnap until it gets enough people involved that it gains its own momentum and becomes a lively forum.

To create a New iSnap go to the main Menu and click on: New

How to find the an Image for an iSnap

	•	To Start Either start a new iSnap or add an image to an existing iSnap:   •  Start a New iSnap or   • Use one of the methods above to find an iSnap that you wish to participate in. When you have found the right one - click on: Add an Image
	•	Select an Image You will then be asked to select an option. The default is to upload from your computer:   Upload Upload images from your computer   Flickr Import images from the Flickr web site. Note: This is only the images which have copyright settings to let us do this.   Facebook Import images from your Facebook Albums   iSnapChat Use images that are already on the iSnapChat application. These can be your own or someone else's images. There is a Simple Search: And there is an Advanced search which has lots of option to enable your own personal images and or images from specific locations: They can be from: • Other iSnap Conversations • Artists's Galleries (artwork which is not for sale) • Artist's Art Shop (artwork which is for sale) • Someone's Favorites To find your own images (or Friends, or Artist, or Fans) Select the iSnapChat Globe and then: 1 Select: Advanced Search 2 Select: The Location (Art Shops, Galleries, Favorites, iSnaps) 3 Select: Your Stuff (or another option) Note: If you want to browse do not need to use keywords in the search.     Tip: When you see an image that you like and might want to use later put it into your Favorites by clicking on the Heart button. That makes it much easier to find later.

Creator & Moderators Edit Controls
If you Create a new iSnap you are the Creator and have Moderator Controls. The iSnap Moderators are there to help ensure that users content is appropriate. Anyone may contact an iSnap Moderator. You will see the Mods button in all iSnaps:

•	The creator of an iSnap is by default a moderator.
•	A moderator can remove any image or any comment or edit the image captions or iSnap description.
•	A moderator can assign any other person to be a moderator.
•	Moderators have no official status as they are simply iSanpChat users like you.
•	If an iSnap ends up without a moderator any participant can become the moderator.
•	Everyone can see who the moderators are and message them.
•	Moderators may block specific users from contributing to a specific iSnap

iSnap Actions
You can add images, comments, captions, descriptions, you may invite other people to view or participate. You have editorial control over your own content and the iSnap Creator and Moderators have full editorial control over all content in their iSnaps. Please use the Control Buttons visible in the iSnap:

Appropriate Content:
Please help us keep the iSnapChat site a safe and friendly environment. Please be polite and only add images or comments which are appropriate to the conversation.

Public Visibility
All images and comments are fully public. For this reason please make sure that your images are appropriate and comments are polite.

One Image at a Time
An iSnap is a Visual Conversation, we suggest that you add just a single image to each iSnap, wait for a response and then add another single image. Make sure that your images are relevant to the iSnap theme.

Report to Moderators
If you see any content that is out of context or inappropriate for a particular iSnap conversation you may inform the moderators by messaging them. Click on the Mod Button:

Report to iSnapChat.com Admins - Use the Report Button
If you see content that is in any way inappropriate please use the report button to inform us and we officially investigate.

•	People who post inappropriate comments or images will have their content removed and maybe totally banned from using the application without warning.
